Reading helps our students – District Books for Kids Project
$34,000 was raised supporting 1,700 children in the South-eastern suburbs of our District.
Congratulations to the Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors who all connected with the District Governor’s Family Project, Books for Kids, empowering primary school children in our District with books.
- $24,000 has been raised from club and personal donations, a fantastic effort.
- An additional $10,000 was funded through a successful joint application between Books in Homes and our district for a community grant from a large company.
